Spend two days at DAWA Fields with Jenee in the discovery of your own authentic and creative voice. Through vocal exploration, yogic sound practices, breathwork and somatic movement, you will tap into the totality of your unique and powerful voice and open up new channels of expression. We will also explore and opening our internal voice to the sound of our soul through creative writing, the ease of creative play, group toning and the art of listening.
Jenee is the founder of Inner Song and a holistic vocal and self-expression coach, embodiment teacher, and energy healer. As a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and recording artist, she has toured internationally as a performer for the last 15 years.She is also a lifelong student of energy medicine, natural healing modalities, spiritual principles and vocal science. Ten years of teaching voice and music – combined with this diverse training – have led her to discover that singing and expression work can liberate others on their journeys of self-discovery, wellness, and healing. She has now made it her mission to help others embody a fully aligned, expressed, whole, and healthy self through voice and expression. Jenee draws upon her training in the modalities of Kundalini Yoga, Compassion Key, Body Talk, Light Language, Divine Intervention, mindfulness study and embodiment practice. Coupled with a certification in Vocology – the scientific study, and habilitation of the voice, she brings a unique and tailored offering to her clients by helping them safely and authentically discover their own true voice and power of expression.

Kambo Medicine:
There will also be an opportunity to tap into deeper layers of healing and soul exploration through Kambo sessions with Philiipe Trottier. This must be arranged in advance and requires a pre-consultation interview by phone or zoom with Phillip to make sure this medicine practice is a wise for you to engage. In adundance of caution and mindful of harm reduction not everyone will be elibable Philippe is trained through the International Association of Kambo Practitioners to facilitate 1:1 and group Kambo medicine sessions. Kambo is the only frog medicine that is legal in the US. At DAWAFields we only engage in legal practices, and do not assist in acquiring illegal substances or engaging in any illegal practices. Trotter is a chef by trade, after 14 years managing a multi million dollar hospital food program for the government of Quebec, he set off on his soul's journey to answer a call of personal healing and medicine exploration. Philippe, alongside his wife Jenee are trained as energy healers in the Mayan Curandero Lineage through the spontaneous remission frequency called Divine Intervention. Kambo medicine has been used traditionally by Amazonian tribes for physical healing and energetic purification. It is a secretion from the Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog also known as the Giant Monkey Frog. The secretion contains 100 different peptides. Kambo enters the lymphatic system through small burns or pathways called “Gateways”. The secretion is then placed on the gateways and one begins their process of purification. Kambo is referred to by the indigenous peoples as “the vaccine of the forest” as they use it to heal most of their illnesses. While the secretion of the frog does not contain any psychoactive substances, it helps to remove blockages at a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Kambo has a range of traditional and potential therapeutic applications, both medical and psycho-spiritual.
Please note:
Kambo is to be received on an empty stomach. It is advisable to avoid solid food, and especially salt, for 10 hours beforehand. Alcohol should be strictly avoided for 24-48 hours before application.The following people should not receive Kambo: Anyone who has received an organ transplant or pacemaker, Anyone that has been prescribed by a doctor to refrain from strenuous physical activity or exercise, Women who are pregnant or within 6 months of giving birth. Conditions where Kambo can be significantly helpful with, but should be made known to your practitioner are: Extreme mental health episodes or any serious health condition (outside of depression, anxiety or PTSD), Active alcohol or drug addiction and last use of substance (especially if within 24-48 hours), Chron's disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Recent medical procedure or surgery

DAWAFields is a rustic and well appointed homestead atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxing. All rooms and facilities are mixed genders. If you choose a double occupancy queen bed please indicate the person with whom you will be sharing the bed and have them register within 24hrs of your registration to reserve your choice of accommodation. In addition to your retreat leader, Born, a staff member will be onsite to insure your retreat is everything you need it to be.

Deposit is refundable within 24hrs of booking. Cancelations before Feb.23rd (11:59pm) are refundable minus $300 fee. Cancelations after Feb. 24th are nonrefundable. If the retreat must be canceled due to COVID or severe weather conditions your balance is refundable and the deposit will be credited to a future booking.
